Don had a distinguished 17-year career with JA starting in 1973 as Executive Director in Reading, PA. In 1975, Don went to the National Office to manage the new Project Business program, then became the President of JA of New York in 1980 where he won the Hook Award in 1984. Don went back to JA, Inc. as Executive Vice President until 1990. After leaving JA, Don went to 4H where he held leadership positions including President and CEO of the National 4H Council and then became the Chair of the Global 4H Network until his retirement in 2016.
